Military Gaming League (MGL) is hosting a one of a kind event to bring awareness around PTSD, talk about suicide prevention, and raise funds to benefit military servicemember and veteran-focused non-profit programs. This is all facilitated by a best in class esports show production at Player Omega in Pomona Fairplex near Los Angeles.
MGL has partnered with EFLGG, where US military teams are pitted against British military teams in a head to head battle. This Veterans Day Weekend we’re playing a Counter Strike:Global Offensive esports tournament, utilizing the tremendous reach and demographic this kind of platform allows.
We’ve also partnered with IRON WILL for powerful cause messaging around PTSD awareness and suicide prevention. The entire event goes to benefit Stack Up’s Call to ARMS Live fundraising campaign to directly support military servicemember and veteran programs.
Stack Up will be streaming next to the Joint Military Esports show with a team of US military veteran and civilian streamers, Twitch and Facebook Gaming influencers, and a number of other elements to raise funds as part of their Call to Arms LIVE campaign which goes to fund their military veteran-focused mission programs: Supply Crates, Air Assaults, Stack Up Overwatch Program (STOP), and The Stacks.
All of this is taking place at Player Omega’s epic launch weekend where they’ve put together an immersive, fully participatory experience with open-bracket tournaments, open gameplay, cosplay, panel discussions, art installations, and more!
Tickets are going quick so grab yours now, it’s $30 for a weekend pass or $20 for a day, military servicemembers and veterans get in free!
